- SIL Fonts for IPA Transcription: SIL has produced versatile and attractive Unicode fonts, one of which (Doulos) includes IPA. These fonts can be downloaded free from SIL's website. (Be certain not to download the "Legacy Fonts" – these are not Unicode.)
- SIL's IPA Unicode page provides information about acquiring keyboards for typing in IPA (Unicode). The information can be confusing, so you may wish to talk with a linguist experienced in loading keyboards onto a computer.
- For a good introduction to the topic of Unicode & IPA, read this document (PDF) by Zev Handel at the University of Washington.
