Department of Linguistics & TESOL

Tentative Course Roster
<subject to change>

If a course listed along the left is going to be taught in a given semester, then the corresponding box will contain the name of a professor (and a time, if this information is available), or a “Y” meaning “yes.”  If a box is empty, then you should assume that the course will not be offered in that semester.  For somewhat more detailed course descriptions, view the course inventory page.

For those who don't know about course numbering:

            The first digit stands for the course level: 1=freshman, 2=sophomore … 5=masters, 6=doctoral

            The second digit = number of credit hours

            The third & fourth digits = specific course

NOTE! This list does not include conference courses, thesis (5X98), dissertation proposal (6391) or dissertation (6X99). If you plan to take such a course, you must first speak to the professor who will supervise your research; only then will s/he make arrangements to add the conference (thesis, etc.) course to the schedule.
